We know what it takes to make a house a home for a lifetime
Most seniors and individuals living with disabilities prefer to continue living comfortably at home rather than moving. But too often they don't know where to turn for answers on how to modify their homes for greater mobility, accessibility and safety.
We have the answers. HandyPro provides customized home renovation services for people who can no longer live in their home as it's currently designed. We also install the necessary equipment and devices designed to create a comfortable and independent living environment.
HandyPro offers the AIM in-home assessment for seniors and those living with disabilities.
AIM® In-Home Assessment
The HandyPro AIM approach ensures each client's unique needs and budget requirements are always met.
- Mobility - inside and outside the house
- Access - to daily needs and hygiene
- Safety - the priority in all modifications
It begins with our in-home assessment, a thorough walk-through of your, or your loved one's home to evaluate what will be required to create a safe and secure environment based on your unique needs. We focus on three primary areas:
Once we have completed our evaluation we will explain our approach to your project along with any other renovation or equipment recommendations we may have. We will also review the proper and safe use and upkeep of the modification and equipment.
Our goal is to make sure the project meets your budget and your timing requirements.
Upon your approval our craftsmen will begin, making sure you are satisfied every step of the way.
We understand that oftentimes the need to modify a home is immediate. HandyPro is prepared to act fast and efficiently to create a safe, accessible and barrier free living environment.

“We worked with Dave to erect an outside porch handrail for my elderly parents in Malvern. Dave was a pleasure to work with! Dave and his crew did exactly what he said they would do for the price he quoted. My other family members in the area and I will definitely use HandyPro again!”
-David M., West Chester
“Thank you so much! I was at the client's house Saturday and you do beautiful work! I am VERY impressed! I will definitely be keeping your contact information at our law office” -Amy S., Chadds Ford
“Mom is 99 and is staying in her own home. It’s hard to find someone whose workmanship and integrity I could trust with Mom’s repairs. I could depend on Dave to install the handrails and make home modifications and repairs to keep her safe. Better still, Dave took time to talk with Mom, not just with me, to learn how she moves around the house and how she wanted things to be. . . rare in this day and age! and truly much appreciated. You’ll be delighted with Dave and his work!”
-Donna P., Devon
"It's nice to have a go to guy in a go to company! John was my guy from start to finish. He was out to my house, reviewed the job – crown molding, chair rail and shadow boxes in my living room and dining room – gave me a firm estimate and began a day later. John worked on the weekend to complete the job. It was done quickly and done well. Since then I have used John for a number of handyman assignments all have been done quick and well."
- Jim C., Downingtown
"They are here now, they insisted on taking extra time to do the job right (not asking for extra money)!"
- Emanuel K., Glen Mills
“Highly recommended – their customer service was great! It was a tricky problem with a broken part on my window. John the craftsman travelled around to find a suitable part. I would not hesitate to use HandyPro again.”
- Geoff A., Wayne
"Service was great. Jeff was very nice, prompt and a professional."
- Patrick K., West Chester
